SAN FRANCISCO: Google has reported it is going down its URL shortened named goo.gl beginning April 13 and requested that clients consider utilising application driven Fire base Dynamic Links (FDL) or comparative well known administrations like Bitly and Ow.ly as an option.

FDLs are savvy URLs that enable one to send existing and potential clients to any area inside an iOS, Android or web stage.

"Beginning April 13, 2018, mysterious clients and clients who have never made short connections today won't have the capacity to make new short connections by means of the goo.gl support," Michael Hermanto, Software Engineer, Firebase, wrote in a blog entry on Saturday.
